Pro-Euthanasia Activists Teaching At Catholic Universities:  “Bishops Betrayed On Assisted Suicide” – Crisis Magazine

Terri Schiavo
Terri Schiavo
Crisis Magazine
  • “Suicide’s legalization has been advocated by prominent professors [including non-Catholics and ordained priests] in Catholic universities including Georgetown, Marquette, Santa Clara, and Boston College.”
  • The professors “have done more than betray the Catholic Church.”
  • The scandal over artificial nutrition and hydration:  liberal professors (including ordained priests) at Catholic universities claimed Pope John Paul II’s teachings, which sustain life, was the pope’s pandering to pro-lifers.

These two Crisis Mag. articles expose much, much more disturbing details of this scandal than I could have ever imagined.  Church Teachingartificial means of nutrition and hydration, food and water, are necessary for life and removing them is an act of euthanasia.  {Official Church teaching on nutrition and hydration.}

Crisis Magazine Special Reports
1.  “Bishops Betrayed On Assisted Suicide.”  2011. Our bishops “efforts are being undermined by ethics and law professors at several Jesuit universities.”   Includes non-Catholics and ordained priests.
Prof Emeritus Charles Hillel Baron

Prof. Emeritus Charles Hillel Baron taught Law & Bioethics for 40 years at Boston U. , a Jesuit university.  In an amicus brief  he argued for Terri Schiavo to die by dehydration and starvation.
  • Baron helped develop model legislation * legalizing euthanasia.
  • Baron serves on the board of directors ** of the Death With Dignity National Center, which is the organization most responsible for Oregon’s Death With Dignity law and has promoted similar laws in Maine, Hawaii, and Vermont.
  • He exposed his students to positive views on euthanizing newborns and retarded people.
  • Baron co-taught his classes with Milton Heifetz who viewed newborns as having “potential” to being human — a Jewish belief.***
2.  A Cardinal Neuman Society Report, “Teaching Euthanasia.”  Crisis Mag. Online 2005.  “Professors from top Catholic universities helped convince the courts and the public that removing her [Terri Schiavo’s] feeding tube was acceptable and consistent with Catholic teaching — even while the Vatican said it was euthanasia.”   (Page 6 & 7 cover the scandal against Pope John Paul II’s teachings re nutrition and hydration, which was disputed by the liberal professors; they claim that the pope was “pandering to the right-to-lifers.”

The Death with Dignity Political Fund (the Fund) began in 1993 as Oregon Right to Die, a state political action committee, formed to help pass the Oregon Death with Dignity Act.  The Death with Dignity Act was tied up by legal challenges and a legislative repeal effort until the fall of 1997.  In late 2001, Oregon Right to Die changed its name and tax status to become what is now the Death with Dignity Political Fund. This effort was undertaken so the organization could more easily combine its political strengths with the Death with Dignity National Center. Together these organizations are positioned to lead the charge in the death with dignity movement.

Thanks to a Catholic university keeping Baron, a radical euthanasia activist, and others like him, we are in this battle.

Strategy Meeting on 11/21/10

One year ago, myself and two faithful Catholic women secretly filmed this meeting of dissenting Catholic feminists.  We gave them phony names and acted ignorant.  We wanted to catch them on camera admitting to their main goalthe ordination of women priestesses.  And they did just that.  Another piece of evidence is the fact that we saw Toni Tortorilla at the meeting, the woman who was infamously “ordained” in Oregon.  200 women attended representing 20 parishes in Oregon.

Evidence from the video:  “Women are trained to be priests.  Many women have their masters in theology so there’s no reason why they couldn’t be priests.  We should have women deacons.  We feel that nuns, sisters, and women should have more rights.  There should be more openness in the Church.  The pope should be selected from male and female.”

Why did we wait so long to show you this?  Because we expected the Archdiocese to take action by now, to stop these women from infiltrating our parishes with their bitter feminist offenses to the truth.  One year ago, we’d been told by a trusted source that Archbishop Vlazny had seen the video, which I’d transferred to CD, and the transcript.

It’s been one year since OSOC’s first strategy meeting.  We’ve learned they are continuing to freely infiltrate our parishes, pressuring pastors to permit “listening circles”.  This must stop and you can help!   Last month OSOC had a second strategy meeting at St. Andrew’s.

These unhappy women have nothing to be thankful for (it was a week before Thanksgiving).

If you lose the link, just go to and type in “dissenting Catholic.”
